UK Lotto details & rules
Lotto is drawn every Wednesday and Saturday night. Since June 2026, every line plays in two rounds each night: two separate draws, each of six winning numbers and a bonus ball from balls numbered 1 to 59. Our simulator plays both rounds for every line.
Match all 6 numbers in either round to win the Jackpot, at odds of 1 in 45,057,474 per round. The Jackpot is shared between the winners of both rounds. The other prizes are fixed, from £1 for 2 numbers to £1,000,000 for 5 numbers and the bonus ball, and you can win them in both rounds.
A line costs £2. Lottery prizes are tax free in the UK.
